Patch Testing

Sensitive skin can react to irritants in skincare products, environmental pollution, washing detergents and in extreme cases even the sun. Reactive skin should be patch tested prior to using any new skincare products in order to avoid irritation.

Patch testing is carried out by testing the product on a small area of the skin before use to test if the product irritates the skin. elave skincare products are free from common skin irritants but in a very small number of cases reactive skin may be irritate. Unfortunately this is unavoidable since some reactive skin can be irritated by water itself.

If the patch-tested area is free from irritation after 24 hours, continue use. Should irritation occur on the patch-tested area, discontinue use.
